Tenderhead - Conocybe lactea





Common Name: Tenderhead

Scientific Name: Conocybe lactea

Cap: width1-1 ½ “, Dull white in dry weather, pink-tan in wet, margin lightly grooved, narrowly conical aging bell-shaped

Spores: Reddish brown

Habitat/Substrate: scattered in grass

Flesh: Whitish

Stem: White, with fine white hairs, enlarging down to white or pale yellow bulb.

Edibility: Unknown
